CoderDojo at OIST -The community of free, local coding clubs for kids and teens-

On June 30th, 2024, CoderDojo at OIST was held in the Meeting Room Building at OIST (the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University).

9 children participated.

We extend our gratitude to the numerous volunteers who supported the children.

We received a donation of 2,500 yen, which will be utilized to support future activities of CoderDojo Nago. Thank you very much.

CoderDojo Nago is a programming club tailored for children and young adults up to 17 years old, fostering a community for individuals passionate about technology.

We engage in diverse activities such as learning, creating, and self-expression through tasks like developing games and animations, experimenting with electronics, engaging in robotic soccer, assembling computer components, and embarking on various adventures.

Our outreach extends to Nago City and other areas in the northern part of Okinawa Prefecture.

Participation is free of charge.

Operated entirely by volunteers, Coder Dojo Nago welcomes individuals interested in volunteering.
